COVID-19 Information

Following the latest Government announcement the following restrictions shall be in place, from Monday 17th May 2021:

The Crescent Restaurant – Food and drink services are back open. Table service will continue, no ordering at the bar. Face masks to be worn whilst moving around the hotel, however can be removed when sat down at your table. You must scan our NHS QR code on arrival using your NHS App to check into the venue. If you do not have the app we can take your details manually. We will be temperature checking everyone upon entry.

The Terrace - Food and drink services are open. Table service will continue, no ordering at the bar. Face masks to be worn whilst moving around the Terrace area, however can be removed when sat down at your table. You must scan our NHS QR code on arrival using your NHS App to check into the venue. If you do not have the app we can take your details manually.

Weddings -  

  • Tables will be socially distanced and will consist of 6 individuals or 2 households.
  • No dancefloor allowed.
  • DJ’s are allowed as long as the music is at a level where people can talk normally and don’t have to shout.  
  • Bride & Groom and Venue to provide hand sanitiser/ stations. 
  • Face coverings are to be worn by all guests including Bride & Groom when moving around the venue inside, including the function room.
  • First Dance is allowed but only by the Bride & Groom and face coverings don’t need to be worn by the couple for this. Other guests are not allowed to join the couple for this dance. Other Dancing is advised against but this isn’t legal therefore dancing at your table with people in your bubble is ok.
  • Speeches are allowed but the area must be well ventilated.
  • Cutting of the cake can take place but again Bride & Groom can remove their face covering but other guests must wear theirs and must be 2 meters away from couple.
  • Buffet must be served by venue staff to limit the number of people touching tongs and serving equipment.
  • All food & drink must be ordered, served and consumed by customer while seated at a table.

Hesketh Health Club - Opening protocols from Monday 17th May 2021 are listed below.

Members/Visitors

GYM 

  • You can only visit the Health Club alone or with other members of your household.
  • All members and visitors must wear a face covering when entering the hotel.
  • The gym has a maximum capacity limit of 12 people. Staff will advise you if you are required to wait.
  • Face coverings can be removed once you begin exercising but must be kept in your possession.
  • Maintain a 2m gap between you and other members as you move around the gym, while you workout, and when you use the changing rooms or toilets.
  • During busy periods if it's not possible to stay 2m apart, apply the one-metre plus guidance precautions (you should be at least 1m apart with extra precautions; such as face coverings).
  •  Use the hand sanitiser dispensers once you enter the gym and as you leave.
  • Use sanitising spray and paper towels provided to wipe down your equipment once you have used them.
  • Some equipment has been taken out of action/moved and we have installed floor markers, all to help you socially distance safely.

Indoor Swimming Pool

  • Only visit the swimming pool alone or with other members of your household.
  • All members and visitors must wear a face covering when entering the hotel.
  • Face coverings must be removed before entering the water but should be worn whilst changing and moving around the pool area.
  • The swimming pool has a maximum capacity limit of 4 single users or a household of 8. Staff will advise you if you are required to wait.
  • During busy periods please limit time in the water to 30 minutes.
  • Maintain a 2m gap between you and other members as you move around the pool area, while you swim and when you use the changing rooms or toilets.
  • If it's not possible to stay 2m apart, apply the one-metre plus guidance precautions (you should stay at least 1m apart with extra precautions; such as face coverings). Do not wear face coverings whilst swimming.
  • Do not leave personal belongings in the changing rooms. Please use the storage cubbies located on the viewing gallery.
  • Use the hand sanitiser dispensers once you enter the hotel and as you leave.

Outdoor Swimming Pool

  • Only visit the outdoor swimming pool alone or with other members of your household.
  • The outdoor swimming pool has a maximum capacity limit of 8 single users. Staff will advise you if you are required to wait.
  • During busy periods please limit time in the water to 30 minutes.
  • Maintain a 2m gap between you and other members as you move around the pool area and while you swim.
  • If it's not possible to stay 2m apart, apply the one-metre plus guidance precautions (you should stay at least 1m apart with extra precautions; such as face coverings). Do not wear face coverings whilst swimming.
  • Use sanitising spray and paper towels provided to wipe down sun loungers before and after use.

We ask that you are patient with other members and visitors. Particularly where we need to maintain social distancing to keep everyone safe. If you are not happy with anything then let a member of the Health Club team know. Remember, it has been tough for everyone, so let's look after each other as best we can.
