From the hotel, the panoramic views take in well-known Torquay landmarks including Thatcher Rock and Shag Rock, much loved by locals and scuba divers alike, alongside the colourful charm of traditional seaside beach huts. Our grounds are filled with quiet corners and hidden spots, ideal for guests to explore, gather, and enjoy the surroundings.
Set within an elegant Regency crescent, the hotel overlooks six acres of beautifully landscaped gardens stretching down towards Meadfoot Beach. The Crescent Suite
The Crescent Suite is a bright, spacious, sea-facing suite with an adjoining lounge, offering a flexible layout suitable for a wide range of events. The two elegant spaces can be used individually or opened fully using a concertina door to create one large room, ideal for both daytime and evening occasions.
With its own private entrance and bar, the suite offers a sense of exclusivity and ease for you and your guests. Large arched windows flood the room with natural light and frame stunning coastal views, creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere while dining or gathering.
The suite is fully air-conditioned and equipped with an in-built sound system, wireless microphones, and a projector, making it equally well suited to celebrations, presentations, and formal gatherings. Private toilet facilities are located directly within the suite for added convenience.
Overlooking the magnificent views across Torbay, the Crescent Suite can accommodate up to 70 guests seated or up to 150 guests for more informal events. Our events team will support you throughout the planning process, offering a bespoke service for menus, drinks, and room setup, so your event can be tailored exactly to your needs.

The room offers flexible furniture layouts to suit your event, accommodating up to 30 guests depending on the setup. Large windows provide natural light and sea views, creating a calm and comfortable setting for guests to enjoy.
The Crescent Lounge is equipped with a sound system and a portable microphone, making it suitable for speeches, presentations, and background music. Its versatility allows the space to be adapted easily to your needs, whether you’re planning a seated gathering or a more informal arrangement.

The Library
The Library is a warm, characterful space designed for smaller, more intimate gatherings. With rich wood panelling and a cosy atmosphere, it offers a quiet and private setting that feels relaxed and welcoming.
Accommodating up to 20 guests, the room is well suited to meetings, private dining, and informal events where comfort and conversation are key. The enclosed nature of the space creates a sense of focus and connection, ideal for groups who value privacy.
The Library is equipped with a sound system and microphone, allowing for speeches, presentations, or background music as required. Our events team will help you arrange the space to suit your needs, ensuring everything feels considered and well supported.
